The Best-Selling Rigid Mesh for Fencing

Hello everyone, I'm Marco from Fenceshop, and today we'll discover the best-selling welded mesh and why it’s so popular. Let’s start with an important clarification: I have two samples of the same mesh here, the main difference is the color. This mesh model is available in both green and anthracite.

Technical Characteristics of the Mesh

The welded mesh we are talking about is the Everplax. This model features a 50 mm x 100 mm mesh in the horizontal direction. The horizontal wires are waved, and the mesh has three wires at the top and three at the bottom. The wire diameter is 2 mm for the inner wire and 2.5 mm for the outer wire, which is plastic-coated and available in green or anthracite. The mesh comes in rolls of 25 meters, but we at Fenceshop also offer it by the meter for this model. The available heights for this mesh are seven, making it very versatile for different uses.

Recommended Uses

This mesh is particularly suitable for residential use. It’s perfect for fencing villas, residential areas, and schools. However, it's not recommended for sports fields due to the relatively wide mesh, which doesn't withstand the stress of ball impacts and players well. So, while it’s ideal for residential environments, it’s not the best choice for sports installations.

Ease of Installation

One of the great qualities of Everplax is its ease of installation. On a scale from 1 to 5, the difficulty of installation is around 3. Thanks to its bends and the robustness of the material, this mesh can be installed very well even on uneven terrain, although a flat installation is always preferable. A small trick to improve the installation is to use pliers to accentuate the bends in areas where the mesh is not well stretched. This helps to tension the mesh, improving its aesthetics and functionality.

Types of Posts Usable

Everplax is a versatile mesh that can be used with different types of posts. T-posts, round posts, more robust posts, and even wooden posts are fine. This flexibility makes it an excellent choice for various types of installations.

Important Details on the Structure

An important aspect of this mesh is the presence of three wires at the top and three wires at the bottom. There are also meshes on the market with only two wires, but Everplax has three. This detail makes a big difference, as the three additional wires provide greater rigidity to the mesh border, both at the top and the bottom.
