How to Install a Texstyle Decorative Screen

Hello everyone, I'm Marco from Fenceshop, and today we will show you how to correctly install a design screen like the Texstyle fabric. Specifically, we will focus on the Texstyle Duble model. Let's see together the necessary equipment and the fundamental steps for a perfect installation.

Necessary Equipment

  • Elastic fasteners with balls
  • UV-protected Tenax fix-ties, long for initial bindings
  • Smaller silver fix-ties for secondary bindings
  • Screwdriver or awl
  • Scissors

Preparation and Alignment

The first thing to do is align the Texstyle fabric with the fence, both on the side and the upper part. It's important not to start with the fabric as is, but to give it a slight fold for a more robust binding and to prevent fraying. Align the fabric with the line of the fence and temporarily secure it with a large fix-tie, without tightening too much, to give the fabric the correct shape.

Initial Securing

Once the correct alignment is found, secure the fabric with a large fix-tie around the fence post. Use a screwdriver to make a hole in the fabric near the post and insert a second fix-tie. Repeat this process along the entire height of the fabric. After initially securing the fabric, cut the excess parts of the fix-ties.

Unrolling and Cutting the Fabric

Now we can unroll the roll and determine the necessary length. We advise leaving a margin of 3-4 centimeters for cutting. Once the fabric is cut to the desired size, repeat the initial securing process on the other side of the fence.

Final Securing

To ensure a secure hold, we need to bind the Texstyle fabric along its entire length. Use the elastic fasteners with balls from Tenax for an elegant fix, but integrate this method with additional fix-ties to ensure greater hold, especially in the center of the fabric where there are no eyelets.

Punch a hole in the fabric near the middle line and use a small fix-tie to secure it. This step must be repeated along the entire height of the fabric, both at the top and at the bottom. This way, we prevent the fabric from tearing due to wind.

Conclusion

Once the securing is complete, cut the excess portions of the fix-ties. Our Texstyle fabric will be well-stretched and secured elegantly and neatly. Remember, to ensure product durability, it's important to use UV-protected fix-ties.
