Recommended applications

This Cast iron EU 58 compliant hot formed L-shaped anchor plate is 5 mm thick and has a central pre-drilled hole of 12x22 mm (12x32 mm on one side of the biggest one). It is designed for poles or gate posts that have to be anchored frontally to walls or to level cemented surfaces. The bolt hole accomodates both 8 mm and 10 mm bolts and is suitable for circular poles.
It can also be used when assembling any other general structure. Being as this is untreated iron it can be welded, filed or cut but will also rust very easily if exposed to the rain or moisture. We recommend painting it with synthetic or nitro paint with a roller, air gun or paint brush as soon as you have finished creating whatever it is that you want to create. Make sure you paint the back of the plate before fixing to a wall or paving to avoid unsightly rust runs.
